Fuerza: Latinos Making a Difference in Pittsburgh
As the Hipsanic population continues to grow and become a larger cultural influence in Pittsburgh, it's inspiring to see a nonprofit like Cafe Con Leche take up the cause to promote and advance the Latino community within the city at large. Cafe Con Leche was founded Tara Sherry Torres, a former resident artist at Most Wanted Fine Art, as a way to celebrate her Puerto Rican heritage and the contributions Latinos are making in Pittsburgh. As the organization's inaugural fundraiser, Fuerza recognizes Pittsburgh Latinos doing amazing things across different work sectors throughout the region.
Join Cafe Con Leche in celebrating Pittsburgh's Latino community at the public co-working space The Hardware Store in Allentown for an evening of food catered by La Palapa
and a host of Puerto Rican beverages. For event and ticket information, visit www.cafeconlechepgh.com/fuerza.
