Quantum Theatre kicked off its 19th season over the weekend with an outdoor production of
36 Views on Washington Landing, an island in the Allegheny River. The show runs through August 30.
The
company is able to achieve longevity by focusing on the productions
rather than maintaining a home stage. Quantum has presented about 50
productions at unique venues around the city, such as an abandoned
steel mill or the primate house at the
Pittsburgh Zoo.
