One of country music's biggest stars, Kenny Chesney, is releasing a 3-D movie this spring, and Pittsburgh's going to have a starring role in it.
For Kenny Chesney: Summer in 3-D, more than 20 cameras followed this past summer's stadium concerts in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Seattle, San Francisco and Foxborough, Mass., reports USA Today.
The film will feature more than just Chesney's stage show, though. And that's where Pittsburgh comes in. For example, before Chesney's June concert at Heinz Field, 3-D cameras filmed Chesney performing on a houseboat on the Ohio River.
"We did a 35-minute show with all the tailgaters, right on the water. Unless you're down there, nobody gets to see that," Chesney says.
Nobody except all the audiences watching the film, that is. And everyone lucky enough to call Pittsburgh home.
