Pittsburgh is art: City's creative energy fuels innovation, community

Pittsburgh's art scene gets praised as "dynamic" and "a solid base for the next generation of artists" in Intelligent Life, a quarterly magazine published by The Economist.

The article extols Carnegie Mellon University's top-ranked art school; the commitment of Lynn Zelevanky, the new director of the Carnegie Museum of Art, to build up the museum's contemporary collection; and even Braddock, which is turning its "post-industrial devastation" into creative spaces and community collaboration.
