It’s last call for Alpha Lab applications, the
Innovation Works’ program to promote the growth of software, entertainment technology and Internet-related companies in the region.
Innovation Works is accepting applications until Oct. 30th for the winter/spring cycle which will begin on Jan. 5, 2009. Alpha Lab provides $25,000 in funding, free office space and expert business advice to startups that are in a prototype stage or who have a product concept.
A review committee will select up to six companies to participate in the next 20-week cycle based on the concept’s uniqueness, the technology’s market potential and the teams’ ability to develop and launch a winning product/service. Companies will be notified of their selection in November.
