LeftRight Studios' smackBOTS breaks into top 100 free iPhone apps

LeftRight Studios is celebrating the success of its smackBOTS game, which broke, last week, into the top 100 free applications available at the Apple App Store.

The game was released over the summer, around the time the small mobile game developer studio started. According to the Pittsburgh Business Times, smackBOTS "now sits in the No. 92 spot for top free application downloads. It is No. 42 on the top free games list, No. 16 among top free action games and No. 2 among top free kids games. According to Apple, the App Store has 100,000 applications available."

While the game is moving up in ranking, LeftRight Studios is moving out of its AlphaLab incubator space, with plans to rent office space either Downtown or in the South Side.
