Handmade in PA, a blog supporting arts 'n' crafts in the Keystone State, has posted a fun feature on artsy stops along Route 40 in southwestern Pennsylvania.
The five featured spots are: (1) Fallingwater; (2) Sculptures at Kentuck Knob, another Ohiopyle-area home also designed by Frank Lloyd Wright; (3) Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Farmington, which offers tours of its 1,000 piece Hardy Family Art Collection; (4) the Frank L. Melega Art Museum in Brownsville, which showcases works by its namesake local artist; and (5) the Touchstone Center for Crafts in Farmington, a "rustic haven in the woods to learn new skills, hone artistic techniques and experiment with new ones."
