What topics do Pop City readers find the most interesting?
Over the course of a year we have featured a broad range of subjects, so we can glean a few things about our readers from this Top 10 list. Such as? Well, you love great coffee and great coffee shops. You're engaged with your city and willing to work to make it a better place (The Engaged Philanthrophy of PSVP). You appreciate creativity (see Welcome to Randyland) and you have an appetite for high-quality food (The Fast Rise of Slow Food). Mostly, you love Pittsburgh (A Search for the Best City to Live In).
It seems all you smart and well-connected readers also have a sense of humor and admire those who love our city. The number one feature of the year, which benefitted from a stroke of good timing, was the interview with the popular and witty blogger, PittGirl. The story was scheduled the day after PittGirl abruptly signed off. We updated it with the help of PIttGirl and it became the best read feature of 2008 among our subscribers and those reading Pop City from other sources (Internet searches, RSS feeds, bookmarks, social media, etc.).
Here in reverse order, the top 10 best read features of 2008:
