New Asian-Latin fusion eatery Tamari is the latest spot to activate
Lower Lawrenceville's Butler St. corridor. Owner/operator Allen Chen,
who grew up in the restaurant business, worked with Downtown-based
architect Felix Fukui on the dining destination's design. With seating
for 100, first-floor tables and bar, and a sleek second-floor lounge
boasting views of Downtown, Tamari is also known for its
perfect-for-people-watching street-level courtyard. Chef Roger Li
serves up an eclectic repertoire of small plates, entrees, ceviche,
maki, and more. Don't leave without trying the lychee mojitos and
Peking Duck quesadilla.
