A design communications agency needs an office space as creative as its work.
That’s why
Z Brand Group president Goldie Ostrow chose to move into the 32nd floor of the Gulf Tower, at 707 Grant St., Downtown. Z Brand, which specializes in creative communications and digital design services, began its three-year lease in early May of a 3,700-square foot space in the 38-story, 407,000-square foot building.
“I love the views,” Ostrow says. “You can see forever. It’s pretty incredible.”
Rob Geiger of
Grant Street Associates assisted Ostrow in finding the property, which was in move-in condition due to recent renovations by the previous tenant, a tech firm that still occupies the remainder of the floor.
The space has a bright, modern feel, which Ostrow was surprised to discover in the more traditional Gulf Tower. She was sold, too, on the Gulf Tower’s convenient location and its amenities, including 24-hour security, a limousine service, on-site property management and first-floor retail and restaurant venues. Other Gulf Tower tenants include Urban Design Associates, The Make-A-Wish Foundation, Bridgeway Capital and Fifth Third Bank.
Ostrow founded Z Brand Group in March of this year after more than two decades with
A to Z Communications, at 960 Penn Ave., Downtown. Ostrow brought four employees with her from A to Z, with two more employees slated to begin in June. Z Brand clients include Federated Investors, PNC, The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, H.J. Heinz Company, Duquesne Light and McCrory & McDowell.
