The 674,000-square-foot Town Center—the final phase of the 800-acre mixed-use Southpointe development—also houses one million square feet of Class A office space, power center tenants and numerous restaurants. Also slated for Southpointe are a new 123-room
Hilton Homewood Suites and a 130-room

At 601 Technology Dr. in Southpointe I, Michigan-based general contractor and construction management firm
Barton Malow has leased 3,221 square feet. Headquartered in Southfield, Michigan, the firm operates regional offices in seven states and employs more than 1,000 full-time staff.
“Pittsburgh is a key city within the construction industry. We decided to open in Pittsburgh to have access to the local resources relating to construction management experience,” says Kevin Camerson, with Barton Malow. “There’s ease of access to the local highway systems and airport, the expanding amenities at Southpointe, and it's also close to the city.”
Ranked among the country’s top 10 builders in its niche markets, Barton Malow's revenues for the past five years were in excess of $1 billion annually. The new Pittsburgh office currently employs approximately 13 people. “For Barton Malow to choose Washington County speaks to the very favorable growth here,” says Michael Swisher, with
Horizon Properties Group. “They’re a quality, first-class national company—it’s a sign of great progress.”
Additional tenants at 601 Technology Dr., which is ninety-five-percent occupied, include
Federated Investors and
Quaker Capital.
