East Liberty Development, Inc. (ELDI), has completed a development project at 923 Negley Avenue in Highland Park.
Located near Avondale Place, the three-story property was built in the 1800s as the home of a prominent Pittsburgh family.
The $500,000 project involved a complete renovation of the property, which now features three new 1,110 square-foot condos. One unit has sold and is already occupied.
Two of the units are one-bedroom townhouses while the third is designed as an open, one-bedroom condo.
“When the community purchased the house, it was in bad shape," says Ernie Hogan, director of residential development with ELDI. "In order to save it, they looked at what the market needed which was low maintenance, condo living,” he adds, referring to the Highland Park Development Corporation.
Pittsburgh-based
Tai + Lee Architects designed the renovation and the contractor was Team Construction.
