There are no substitutes for focus, hard work and perseverance--that's Netronome's philosophy when it comes to the Cranberry-based business.
It may be one of the fastest growing companies in Pittsburgh, with a revenue increase of an astounding 1,417% from 2007 to 2009.
The supplier of semiconductor products continues to grow and expand here as well as their other offices in Boston, Santa Clara and smaller ones in London, China and South Africa. With close to 100 employees, the company hopes to hire more as the year goes on
Jarrod Siket, VP of marketing and sales, explains that Pittsburgh was an ideal location for their company for a variety of reasons.
"(Pittsburgh) provides a large target employee base with a history of success in high-technology ventures, specifically in our market segment of networking and communications. We've been able to find exceptional local candidates across a wide range of disciplines including hardware engineering, software engineering, sales and marketing," says Siket. "Additionally the university systems, specifically Carnegie Mellon and Pitt, provide a fertile recruiting ground for new graduates with the skills to immediately contribute to our business."
Netronome's newest product was their first processor, announced early this year, which enables intelligent and secure communications between in an ever growing world of devices and applications. Siket sees only big things for the company as they plan to expand their sales and marketing into 2011 as they continue to seek out new customers and product designs.
"We are truly just beginning - with many more applications for our technology to be explored," says Siket.
