Port Authority's 86A East Hills and 86B Frankstown bus routes both provide service to the Strip District and Downtown, serving Bloomfield via Liberty Avenue and Penn Avenue, respectively. Bloomfield residents can use these routes outbound to go to East Liberty and Wilkinsburg. Three routes use Friendship Avenue on their way to the Strip District and Downtown: 77D Highland-Friendship, 77F Morningside-Friendship and 77G Stanton Heights-Friendship. 77A Oakmont and 77B Penn Hills travel Downtown via Baum and Bigelow boulevards. The 54C, one of system's most popular routes, provides Bloomfield residents with service to the North Side, Oakland and the South Side.
