Publisher & Editor:

An award-winning writer and former advertising agency exec, Trace started as founding editor of Pop City and was named publisher in November, '07. Former editor of AIA Pittsburgh's Columns magazine, she has written about topics ranging from architecture and urban design to health and travel. A two-time boomeranger, she returned from Los Angeles where she worked in national media sales with post-grad studies in writing and photography at UCLA. She was born in Chicago and has lived in the south, southwest and northeast, and chose Pittsburgh to roost. Her passions (besides her family and Pop City of course) include music, reading, photography, cycling and  travel, especially as a Global Village trip leader for Habitat for Humanity. Her latest addiction-- sad to say--is Guitar Hero 3.  She blames her sons for that. Like other transplants to this city, she is charmed by the many diverse and eclectic offerings of Pittsburgh--and welcomes the opportunity to showcase them through Pop City.
